Description:

Very hoppy ale with nice floral and citrus tones.

Ingredients:

  • 9 lbs Sorghum Syrup (prior to boil)
  • 1 oz Centennial Hops (60 min)
  • 1 oz Centennial Hops (20 min)
  • 1 oz Centennial Hops (7 min)
  • 0.5 lb Table Sugar (5 min)
  • 8 oz Maltodextrine (5 min)
  • 1 oz Centennial Hops (2 min)
  • 1 pkg Nottingham
  • Dry Hopping:
  • 1 oz Centennial Hops (secondary fermenter)

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 14 days at 68 degrees
Secondary Ferment: 10 days at 68 degrees

Final Gravity: 1.015
Alcohol by Vol: 6.7%

Bitterness IBU: 65.0

Procedure:

Bring waterto boil, and primary fermentable sugars, return to boil and achieve hot break.

Add hops and remaining fermentable sugars according to schedule.

Chill wort until appropriate temperature to pitch yeast.

Dry hop after racking to secondary.
